Last month, our beloved Syms made his way across the Rainbow Bridge. He was 21 years old, aka 100 human years, and we cherish our time we had with him. Syms had a big-dog personality that rivaled those of his canine brothers and made him king of the house and also the best snuggle-buddy ever.
Syms was THE most chill cat ever: welcoming two huge dogs into our family, adjusting to the many home moves and frequent “vacations” at my Mom’s in between, and tolerating silly clothes/costumes and hijinks. He adventured with us on our RV trips, sitting out by the campfire, hiking on a leash, and just basking in any sun beams he could find.
When the time came, we poured all our love into him, making sure he knew he was deeply loved. The weight of his absence is still sorely felt but we’re grateful he is free from pain. We miss you, Syms.
