Dr. Christine Asgar graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and then completed a rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital. Since that time, she has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian in Bergen county. Dr. Asgar is a proud mom of four and enjoys dancing, playing piano, and gardening. Her home is also shared with Dash and Violet, a pair of mischievous cats whose favorite activity is stealing food.

It has been an incredible honor to offer a way for families to say goodbye to their cherished pets at home in the most peaceful, stress-free, and loving way we can. She believes it is a privilege to help make a difficult time a little bit easier for both the animals and their families.

Erin J. Coonrod

BS, RVT, CHPT

Erin has dedicated more than 20 years to the veterinary profession—a path she knew early on was her calling. She began her career as a kennel attendant in 2004 and steadily advanced through the field, eventually earning her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Nursing from Purdue University in 2012.

Just before graduation, Erin discovered veterinary hospice and palliative care, a specialty that deeply resonated with her compassion for both patients and their families. In 2018, she proudly became a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Technician (CHPT) through the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, and she has since devoted her work to providing gentle guidance, comfort, and support for pets and their families during life’s most tender transitions.

Erin shares her home with her three beloved cats—Elektra, Demeter, and Munkustrap—each named after characters from the musical Cats. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys watching documentaries on a wide range of topics, spending time in nature, and being with those she loves most.
